
Master Sediqi is a national and internationally recognised instructor; he began practicing Taekwondo (ITF) (WT) in 1989 at Haidairy Taekwondo Association in Afghanistan under Grand Master Zia-Ul Haq Bakhshi.
In 1996 he moved to Islamic Republic of Iran, and began practising full contact kickboxing (WKA). In 2001 in the UK, he joined English Contact Karate Association (ECKA) under Grand Master Dev Barrett who is a former world champion. Moving back to Taekwondo in 2004 under Grand Master Neil Guest (Heart of England Taekwondo), he opened his own classes in 2005. He has also been fighting in national level in Kickboxing and Taekwondo with several wins.
He has many years experience leading teams in competitions, winning trophies & medals for the club. He has been teaching and developing students from all age groups and aims to take them to competitions to make them better athletes.

Coach Akdeniz began practicing Taekwondo in 1994. He represented his club and country in competition for over 20 years. In 2014, he established his first Taekwondo club in Turkey – Birlesim Sports Club – which quickly grew in popularity. This was followed by the founding of Oykum Youth and Sports Club in 2016 and Ahmet Sari Youth and Sports Club in 2018.
Before moving to the UK in 2019 to join Five Lions Taekwondo Academy, Coach Akdeniz had trained and mentored over 2,000 students in Turkey.
He has served as a coach for the Turkish National Taekwondo Team since 2016, bringing a wealth of international experience, technical expertise, and passion for developing future champions.

Mohamad Shabir Mirzadeh began his Taekwondo journey in 2009 at the age of six. He achieved his first dan black belt in 2014 and recently earned his fourth dan black belt in 2025. Over the years, he has competed in numerous Taekwondo tournaments across the UK, including open and one-to-one competitions, as well as international events.
His experience extends beyond competing, as he is actively involved in coaching at Five Lions Taekwondo. Mohamad has also trained in Kabul, Afghanistan, with his head coach’s Taekwondo team, Haidary Taekwondo, gaining a deeper cultural and technical understanding of the sport.
Marwa is a dedicated martial artist and a 3rd Dan black belt who began her Taekwondo journey at just 9 years old. Now 15, Taekwondo has become far more than a sport to her—it’s a way of life. Through years of training, she has gained discipline, respect, and perseverance, qualities that continue to shape who she is both on and off the mat. Every challenge, every kick, and every training session has strengthened not only her body but also her mind, building resilience, confidence, and the courage to push beyond limits.
Marwa has competed in tournaments all over the country, excelling in both Kyorugi (sparring) and Poomsae competitions, and she continues to actively test herself against other athletes. For her, Taekwondo isn’t about medals or trophies—it’s about growing into a stronger, better version of herself every single day.

Dale began training in martial arts from the age of 16 doing various different styles. He began studying Taekwondo since 2018 under Master Sediqi. He has also previously studied other styles including Muay Thai and Lau Gar Kung Fu.
In his Taekwondo career he has accomplished many things including competing in several tournaments at a local and national level, winning silver medals at National level in 2019 and 2022.
He has enjoyed his experience coaching and training people of all age groups and continues to deliver high quality teaching and training.

Alicia Forde is a dedicated martial artist and 1st Dan black belt who runs women’s-only Taekwondo classes in Coventry. With a background in Shotokan Karate, where she trained for 8 years and achieved her 1st Dan, Alicia’s passion for martial arts has been a constant in her life. After taking a break due to academic, work, and family commitments, she found herself missing the discipline and fulfilment that martial arts brought.
In 2022, this journey led her to Five Lions Taekwondo, where she reignited her training and has since become more resilient, confident, and fitter than ever before. Having taken part in competitive matches and achieved her black belt, Alicia now hopes to inspire and support other women and young children in achieving their own sporting goals, both on and off the mat.

Mohammed has been practicing Taekwondo far longer than he cares to admit. He originally started his Taekwondo journey in the early 1990’s in his home country Iran before moving to the UK and continuing his practice under Master Sediqi.
He has a variety of experiences in both Kyorugi and Poomsae and has the capacity to develop rapport with both students and parents alike, in turn helping the development of the students to excel in every session.
He has experience in successfully coaching students at a number of tournaments and continues to work on both his own technique and skills to ensure that his teaching skills are of a high level.

Kaming Yuen began practising Taekwondo in 2001 and has since built a strong career as both a competitor and coach. In 2006, he became champion at the Hong Kong Colour Belt Competition and the following year secured 1st runner-up. His dedication to the sport led him to earn his WT Kukkiwon 1st Dan in 2008, progressing steadily through the ranks to achieve 2nd Dan in 2015, 3rd Dan in 2018, and 4th Dan in 2021. Alongside his competitive achievements, Kaming Yuen pursued coaching qualifications, obtaining the Hong Kong Taekwondo Association Elementary Coach Certificate in 2012, and from 2016 onwards, the Intermediate Coach Certificate. With over two decades of experience, he continues to contribute to the growth of Taekwondo in Hong Kong as both a practitioner and mentor.
